Cookies and storage
We use no marketing or analytics cookies. Your browser's localStorage keeps only two settings you requested yourself: the selected language and the light/dark appearance.
A strictly necessary technical cookie stores your language preference. Under the GDPR and ePrivacy rules these require no consent, because they are necessary for the service you explicitly requested.
Third parties and tracking
No Google Analytics, no Meta, LinkedIn or Google Ads pixels, no A/B testing tools, no heatmaps.
Web fonts are self-hosted, so visitor IP addresses are never shared with a third-party font provider.
Contact form and email
If you contact us, we use the details you provide (name, email, company, message) solely to answer your enquiry and prepare a possible engagement.
Legal basis: pre-contractual steps and legitimate interest in business communication. We keep the data for up to 24 months, unless contractual or accounting obligations require longer retention.
Processors
Our hosting and delivery provider operates the infrastructure; our email provider handles correspondence. They process data only on our instructions.
Where data is transferred outside the EU, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction, object to processing, and request data portability.
Write to hello@sopiane.com; we respond within 30 days. You may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian authority (NAIH, naih.hu) or your local supervisory authority.
Logs and security
The server may record technical logs (IP address, timestamp, request) for operational security and abuse prevention, with a short retention period.
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
